We had a conference with Andrés teacher Mrs. Joyce the day before school begins. Then out to Al Safadi for a delicious Lebanese lunch. Don't forget your mustache.

The Other Half of the Family Returns to Abu Dhabi

Pau was feeling good and happy. He was awake talking to me for the first few hours, then slept for the remaining 13+! It was by far the easiest intercontinental trip with kids I have ever taken.

Family Visits

The best part about delaying our return was getting to see the family one last time. Pau had Florence in stitches playing hide and seek all over the house.

Half the Family Returns to Abu Dhabi

Miquel and Andrés flew home while Pau recuperated in LA. They ran into our friends/neighbors Matthew and Marcus who were on the same flight!

A 16.5 hour flight + 1.5 hour drive later and Andrés has enough energy to get reacquainted with his favorite toys.

Children's Hospital

Pau's Disneyland sickness spiraled into 3 days of pain and not sleeping. We ended up in the ER the day before we were scheduled to return to Abu Dhabi. He and I rescheduled our return to give Pau time to recover before making the 16.5 hour plane ride.

Pau looking and feeling OK. . . that did not last too long. Poor guy wanted to go home after a couple hours and finished the day by vomiting in the Disney store. Ouch.
