Today Pau and I were playing with some doctor toys after nursery school.
Then, out of the blue he says, "When I grow up I want to be a doctor."
"You do?" I asked. "Why?"
"To help people feel better," he replied.
Later the same afternoon Andrés brought home a drawing from kindergarten. The xeroxed text on the page said, "When I grow up I want to be:"
I asked Andrés what he wanted to be.
"A doctor." he said. "Well, a guy on a space ship."
"Do you mean an astronaut?"
"Yeah, an astronaut doctor on a space ship."
Hmmm. . . . Genetic?

Not genetic, but rather the result of high levels of intelligence, good parenting, and an attentive mother. These boys are very impressive to this unbiased observer anyway.
